1. What we collect

WizeList stores the shopping lists, to-dos, shops, categories, and loyalty cards you create in the app. We also store the email address, display name, and optional profile photo you provide when you create an account. That's it.

2. What we don't collect

We do not track your location, your contacts, or your web browsing. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not show personalised ads inside the app — in fact, we do not show ads at all.

3. Who can see your lists

Only the members you explicitly invite to a list or group. Invitation is by link or email; no one can join a list without that invitation. Roles (owner / editor / viewer) control what each member can change.

4. How we store your data

Your data lives first on your device so the app works offline. When you're online it syncs over HTTPS to our servers, where it is stored encrypted at rest on managed cloud infrastructure (Google Firebase). Daily backups are encrypted with rotating keys.

5. How long we keep it

As long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your lists, shops, and profile within 30 days. Backups that contain your data are rotated out within 90 days. You can export a JSON dump of everything at any time from Settings.

6. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

You can request export, correction, or deletion of your data by emailing [email protected]. We respond within 30 days. EU / UK residents have additional rights under GDPR, including objection to processing and lodging complaints with a supervisory authority.

7. Children

WizeList is designed for families and is safe for children to use under a parent account, but we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 as independent users.
